HIIT Spektri's and Otaniemi's telephone numbers to change 2 November 2009

16 Oct 2009 - Due to Helsinki University of Technology becoming part of Aalto University at the beginning of next year, TKK phone numbers will change before the turn of the year. In HIIT, this means that landline numbers to HIIT Spektri and HIIT Otaniemi as well as to all researchers and other staff at these sites change.

As of 2 November 2009:

• The number to the University telephone exchange will be +358 9 470 01.
• How to form the new TKK extension numbers: Add the number 2 at the beginning of current extension number. In other words, the current extension 1234 -> new extension 21234.
• External callers should form the phone numbers as follows: +358 9 470 21234

Although the change will take effect at the beginning of November, the old numbers beginning with 451 will also work over a transition period for outside callers.

Please note that for internal calls, only the new 5-digit extensions will work on and after 2 November 2009.
