The topics in the ALT 2011 cover wide variety of contributions to the theory of learning. The two distinguished invited speakers for ALT 2011 are Professors Peter Auer (University of Leoben) and Jorma Rissanen (Helsinki Institute for Information Technology).
ALT 2011 will be co-located with The Fourteenth International Conference on Discovery Science (DS 2011). The two conferences will be held in parallel, and will share their invited talks. The shared invited speaker of ALT 2011 and DS 2011 is Yoshua Bengio (University of Montral , Canada).
