SIE KICK OFF on April 27: Come meet the new research group SOCIAL INTERACTION & EMOTION at HIIT!
Social interaction & emotion (http://hiit.fi/sie) is a newly formed research group at the Helsinki Institute for Information Technology HIIT. We are a crew of psychologists and social scientists working in the intersection of people and technology.
Lead by prof. Niklas Ravaja, we focus on: (a) emotional and cognitive processes during mediated social interaction, (b) the neuroscience of social ICT, (c) privacy management and identity construction in SNSs, (d) participation in online gift exchange and collaborative consumption, and (e) user experience of ICT.
