Abstract
Social media is one key type of service used on mobile devices. In this talk, Yanqing will share his recent research work about systems that facilitate mobile use of these services; in particular, he will focus on systems that promote the related consumption activities. One system (i.e. LinkedUI) introduces novel means of delivering existing web services to mobile devices; the other system (i.e. Social Camera) pioneers novel features for social media services. This talk will be focused on user studies conducted with these systems.
