17.5.2001: XML Devices project gets TEKES funding

TEKES awarded funding for the XML Devices project of the Media Convergence Programme. The aim of the project is to develop a lightweight XML browser that can work on a variety of platforms from MHP digital TV set-top boxes to personal digital assistants. Partners of the project are Alma Media, Elisa, Ericsson, Sonera, and Finnish Broadcasting Corporation.
