7.2.2002: DE Core project funded by TEKES

TEKES awarded funding for the project DE Core: Structures of Mobile Digital Economy. The project will focus on the technical, economic, and legal fundamentals of digital markets and their possible future evolution. The project will involve co-operation with the School of Information Management and Systems (SIMS) at the University of California at Berkeley, where the project will place one researcher starting from August, 2002. Dr. Jukka Kemppinen and Dr. Martti Mäntylä will lead the project jointly.
17.9.2001: HIIT moves to HTC

HIIT moved to new premises at the High Tech Center Helsinki in Ruoholahti. Nevertheless, several HIIT research groups still stay on the HUT or UH campuses, or maintain a second home there.
