Description: 

The web sites for the projects Musiquitous, Finnish Doctoral Programme in Computational Sciences FICS, and Future Internet Graduate School FIGS were blocked from the Internet and reachable only from UH CS Department networks (including HIIT). This happened because the sites' IP addresses changed but the new addresses were not unblocked because of a miscommunication.

Universe.hiit.fi project server OS upgrade from Debian Linux  5.0 (Lenny)  to 6.0 (Squeeze) also server fimwares will be upgraded to latest versions.

Terae.hiit.fi project server OS upgrade from Debian Linux  5.0 (Lenny)  to 6.0 (Squeeze) also server firmwares will be updated to latest versions.

Description: 

The remaining web sites on the old server will be moved to the new server and the new web server will be rebooted.

The following sites will be read-only during the transfer:

  • musiq.hiit.fi
  • fics.hiit.fi
  • figs.hiit.fi

The rest of the sites will be down during the reboot only.

Update at 09:32: The reboot was done. The above listed sites are still read-only until the DNS gets updated. Break extended by 1 hour.
