MobiLife - Mobile Life

People are used to being able to contact anyone, anywhere, at any time. However, the challenge of enabling mass-market-scale ubiquitous services and applications remains. The strategic goal of MobiLife is to bring advances in mobile applications and services within the reach of users in their everyday life by innovating and deploying new applications and services based on the evolving capabilities of 3G systems and beyond.

15.11.2004: CIVI receives funding from Academy of Finland

The Academy of Finland awarded funding for the project Cognitively inspired visual interfaces for representing multidimensional information (CIVI). The project is led by Professor Petri Myllymäki. It will be executed in co-operation with Docent Ilpo Kojo from the Center for Knowledge and Innovation Research (CKIR) at the Helsinki School of Economics, who received a matching grant.
