Yhdysvaltalainen Live Gamer on maailman suurin pelijulkaisijoiden kanssa yhteistyössä toimiva virtuaaliesineiden markkinapaikka. Markkinapaikalla ihmiset ostavat ja myyvät oikealla rahalla virtuaalihyödykkeitä eli esimerkiksi tietokonepelien hahmoja ja peleissä käytettäviä esineitä.

In July 2008, HIIT will be involved in the organization of several international conferences in Helsinki to be run partially in parallel:
The 6th International Workshop on Mining and Learning with Graphs (MLG 2008) will be held on 4-5 July. It will be a forum for bringing together different sub-disciplines within Machine Learning and Data Mining that focus on the analysis of structured data.

The series of conferences is the most important international scientific event of year on machine learning. It lasts over a week and attracts almost 800 researchers from academic institutions and businesses to Helsinki.
Helsingin yliopistossa on käynnissä merkittävä sarja kansainvälisiä tekoälytutkijoiden konferensseja. Yli viikon jatkuva konferenssisarja on vuoden ylivoimaisesti merkittävin kansainvälinen koneoppimisen tapahtuma, ja siihen osallistuu lähes 800 tutkijaa yliopistoista sekä liike-elämästä eri puolilta maailmaa.
