The more a user expects to like using a new mobile phone, the more he will like to use it. According to Helsinki Institute for Information Technology HIIT researchers, users' favorable expectations make them forgive encountered usability problems and perceive new mobile phones usable.

Tietotekniikan tutkimuslaitos HIIT käynnistää laajan yksityisyyskyselyn, jonka tavoitteena on tietoyhteiskuntaan liittyvien huolenaiheiden kartoitus.

Tietoyhteiskunnan kehitys johtanut siihen, että yhä isompi osa ihmisen toiminnasta jää talteen tietokoneelle ja tietoverkkoihin. Yhä moninaisempi joukko toimijoita voi päästä käsiksi lähes kenen tahansa tietoihin. Tietotekniikan tutkimuslaitos HIIT toteuttaa yksityisyyskyselyn kartoittaakseen kehitykseen liittyviä näkökulmia.
