The Spektri Summer Intern presentation date is Wed Aug 25th, 13:00 hours @ Spektri 3rd floor meeting room.
This final seminar of the HIIT and CS Dept. summer interns will take place on Wednesday August 25 at 9:00-15:30 (coffee available from 8:45, schedule of the talks enclosed) in Exactum B222, and the event is open to anyone interested to attend (although the number of seats is limited).
The presentations will be in English.
Professori Marko Turpeinen on nimitetty Helsingin EIT ICT Labs -yksikön johtajaksi. EIT ICT Labs on Euroopan innovaatio- ja teknologiainstituutin EIT:n tulevaisuuden tieto- ja viestintäyhteiskuntaan keskittyvä osaamis- ja
innovaatioyhteisö (Knowledge and Innovation Community, KIC). Helsingin yksikkö sijaitsee Aalto-yliopiston kampuksella Otaniemessä ja sen perustajajäsenet ovat Nokia, VTT ja Aalto-yliopisto. Muut EIT ICT Labs -yksiköt sijaitsevat Tukholmassa, Berliinissä, Eindhovenissa ja Pariisissa.
Professor Marko Turpeinen has been appointed Director of the Helsinki Node of ICT Labs, one of the Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs) of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). The Helsinki Node is located on the Aalto University campus in Otaniemi and its founding members are Nokia, VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland and Aalto University.The other nodes of EIT ICT Labs are in Stockholm, Berlin, Eindhoven and Paris.
